Politics

Regarding the confluence idea of the two parties, the Democratic Party and the Restoration party agreed to set up and the establishment of electoral cooperation and policy consultative body after the current Diet session.

The prime minister Abe officially announced to run for party president election.  The former Affairs chairman, Ms.Noda, also showed the willingness to run for it.

Liberal Democratic Party and Komeito Party agreed with the policy for security-related bill that they would try to establish the bill in the Upper House and wouldn’t use so-called "60-day rule".

Revised Aviation Law to regulate small unmanned machine "drone" was passed and established  in the Upper House plenary session.  The flights in residential dense areas and near the airports were prohibited without the country's permission.

Business

The requested total amount of general accounting bulged to about 102 trillion 400 billion yen, which updated the highest record in past three consecutive years.

Toshiba has announced that it will re-postpone the settlement of accounts publication for the March 2015 period. Financial Services Agency has approved the re-extension application of the submission deadline for the securities report.

Because the slowdown concern of the world economy has been strengthened, the average share price of the Tokyo stock market was plummeted and interrupted ¥ 18,000, which was a low level for the first time in seven months.

Regarding My number system enabling the administrative services with assigning a number to individual people, the revised My number Act to apply the number arbitrarily  to bank account from the 2018 fiscal year was passed and established in the House of Representatives plenary session.

World

Syrian monitoring mission revealed that Islamic countries destroyed part of the Temple of Bel in Syrian Palmyra ruins.

The large number of refugees flow into Hungary and Hungarian government stops the train operation.  They also excluded refugees from the station premises, and refugees started moving on foot to neighboring Austria. Since the highway traffic was under out of control, they started transferring them by bus.

Chinese government held the '70 ceremony of anti-Japanese war victory and military parade in Beijing. Russian President Vladimir Putin and South Korean president  Park Geun and others attended.

Japan

Kyushu Electric Power Sendai nuclear power plant Unit 1 was operating at full capacity. If there is no problem, they enter into the commercial operation on September 10th.

The government has conducted a disaster prevention drills assuming capital epicentral earthquake.

Squid fishing boats have capsized in succession in Nagasaki Prefecture and Yamaguchi Prefecture. 5 people were dead and one person is still missing. There seemed the gust blew under the rough climate.

Number of the dangerous drag related cases police arrested in the first half of this year across the country was 633, which was about five times than the same period of last year.
