Security-related bill was deliberated into the Upper House plenary session.

As for the electoral reform that aims to reduce the "gap of one vote" in House of Councillors, the revised Public Offices Election Law was passed and established in House of Representatives plenary session that includes integrating two adjacent electoral districts.

Microsoft Corp. began a free offer of the latest basic software "Windows 10" on the Internet.

Relating to the accounting fraud problems, Toshiba has announced an additional punishment of 17 officers.

Idemitsu Kosan, 2nd largest domestic petroleum initial seller, and 5th positioned Showa Shell Sekiyu reached a basic agreement for the management integration. Consolidated sales of the two companies is close to 8 trillion yen, approaching to the industrial leader, JX Holdings.

World

Malaysian Prime Minister, Najib dismissed Deputy Prime Minister, Muhidin who had pursued allegations of an investment and development company that is related to the government.

Japan

A small propeller aircraft that took off from Chofu airfield crashed shortly near a residential area. Three people died and five people were injured.
